Strong on performance, sensible on price sums up the philosophy behind the Solid 111 from Acoustic Solid. The 111 is one of the company's best selling models and employs proven technology from the whole Acoustic Solid range, including the use of a high-precision 'zero tolerance' bearing. The separately located motor and string-drive system also provides an extremely efficient means of preventing residual motor vibration and noise from reaching the platter and disturbing the stylus. The Solid 111 is available with either a transparent acrylic chassis or in wood finish. Both alternatives can be supplied as a basic turntable only, or a full setup, complete with an Acoustic Solid re-engineered Rega RB100 tone arm and MM cartridge. A clear acrylic cover is available as an optional extra.
